Buying it from the in-game store eliminates at least shipping cost, store markup, and packaging. This means Areanet gets more money for less work.

That, boys and girls, is Business 101.

I think you missed my point. If we truly got the BMP free, EotN would have been less money than in a retail store, plain and simple. Obviously Areanet can't do this without pissing off the retailers, so they have to release it for the same price. But that doesn't make the BMP free, its actually like trading a box, CDs, and booklets for exclusive content. A trade some were willing to make, but far from "free." Giving is free, trading is not.
Now, giving the content later than expected? No, its giving content later than announced. They had this planned for almost half a year, still they have pushed this deadline to the limit. You wouldn't go to the night of a concert only to have the band announce that "maybe tomorrow we'll play, you'll still be able to use the same ticket," and just take that excuse, would you?

Business 101 or Math 101, whichever (back in high-school we only had 'Business Math' or IMP bullshit, and Business Math was just IMP with computers and a bitch for a teacher).

They could release it on monday for all I care, as long as the missions are good. and I'm willing to shed the cookie cutter for set builds and other character skins, what's so difficult about doing that? ...wait, this is guru. people complain over the stupidest things imagineable, there will probably be QQing about the blades of grass looking like crap.

I don't expect us to get access to it until sometime this evening. I would say around 4PM PDT.

Patience: an ability or willingness to suppress restlessness or annoyance when confronted with delay. There seems to be a lack of this among the posters here.

I can't wait for it to come out, because I'm sure the flood of whining about whatever's wrong with it will be overwhelmingly amusing. First, you stay up all night on the wrong night and whine about it not being out at 12:01 AM Nov. 29th in your timezone, then when you wearily get the update notice sometime tonight you'll be nice and exhausted and bitchy so that as SOON as you die as Saul D'Alessio you'll be on the boards screaming because he doesn't have Spectral Agony on his skillbar.

I have to say they did give me a credit back but it took act of congress to do it. I have spent just as much money as required but yet no goodys for me.

For one thing, it's not later than announced, it's November, and today (gasp) is the 29th. Yeah, Sorrow's Furnace came out at midnight, but it's a frigging GAME people, and if anyone looked to see what their plans were, they said sometime around 3-7pm PST. Too much whining in this thread and people acting like they're 2 years old, "gimme gimme gimme."
